Praise for Performances
"Dear George, Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful stories from Story Caravan at Glover School's International Day on Thursday, December 2nd. Children and parents were mesmerized by your stories, and many parents and children were talking very enthusiastically, after hearing your stories, about what a fantastic storyteller you are. You have a very special talent, and thank you again for sharing it with us." -- Elizabeth Hess, PTO member/Glover Elementary School, Milton, MA
“In my three years of co-ordinating various enrichment programs, I have rarely had as much positive feedback as I did following George’s performance. . . His talent and teachings have certainly inspired and stimulated the ‘storyteller’ in our students.” -- Janice Rounds, Cotuit/Marstons Mills Elementary School, Marstons Mills, MA
"Currently, our 5/6 team of students is studying Ancient Civilizations with the focus of our studies, the Middle East and Mesopotamia. Mr. Capaccio came to our school with clothing from the area, a first hand knowledge of the Middle East, and a plethora of stories to share. He allowed the children to model the clothing and actively included the children in his stories and anecdotes. The children were enthusiastic and completely engaged during the entire one hour presentation.
"During the presentation, Mr. Capaccio was exhilarated and enthusiastic in his storytelling. Though the children had some familiarity with the stories, due in part to our studies, Mr. Capaccio brought them to life with animation and in depth knowledge.
"I would recommend him to any school group looking for first hand knowledge of the Middle East, through the storytelling mode. He will not disappoint, and the children will not want the stories to end." -- Susan M. Cyr, M.Ed., M.A./Cambridgeport School, Cambridge, MA
